Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Bimini top pull pins. These are going to replace the screws in your ducks hinges to allow you to more quickly and easily remove your Bimini top. They are a stainless steel construction. They're going to work with your stainless steel or chromed Zhamak 00:00:27 deck hinges.I'm going to demonstrate here how they'll work for you.
Most your deck hinges, you'll have a screw here that would connect our bolt that would connect to allow your eye end here to pivot rather than having to unscrew it every time. We can simply use our pull pin, the holes lined up, push the pull pin through and it will work as normal. But then if we need to quickly and easily remove our Bimini top, we can simply pull the pull pin out and disassemble it.These do measure about one and three quarters of an inch, sorry, one in three eights of an inch long, and they are about three sixteenths of an inch in diameter.One thing I do want to point out is they do have this wire here that's going to connect to our installation plates, so we can install that underneath our deck hinge and it'll keep track of our pull pin. We're not going to have to worry about losing it, find it every time we want to use it. They'll stay in place right there.The hole there that we can put our screw through is about three sixteenths of an inch.
